Mozilla Prism?
I downloaded Prism yesterday , and I've only used it once. Basically right now , i can describe it by saying, its like an IFrame container for any webpage that installs an icon on your computer. Its nothing cool, or nothing wicked like AIR. I mean i do see the use for it, im using it right now to check mail and stuff, but then thats why thunderbird is there. I really don't see a big use for this , unless im missing a whole chunk of functionality i haven't touched yet.

While I Apply
Why isnt this a flex app?
m applying for a university and the page the school board have given all the students is this "Degree Locater" http://www.electronicinfo.ca/en/degree.php .  '
I Really cant help but wondering why this site is not a Flex application. I mean it has all the makings of a Flex app, from mass data, to filtering , to just being plain simple to use. Instead i think it is using Flash and PHP remoting which is making it slow as hell to load all that data constantly. If this were a flex app, you could have saved the data once it is loaded in memory since the universites are not changing by the minute ( I Hope not :S) and it would improve performace by at least 75%.

Adobe Codename Thermo..
Today on the Adobe Edge newsletter, Thermo was being demo'd and this looks like an amazing tool for developers especially who arent that "artsy". This can also make a better workflow between desginers and developers. I cant wait to try this tool out.
