Professionalism goes a long way in this Business
Me, you, and anyone who reads this blog is in the business of either marketing their rich creations to the web, or developing rich creations for the web. Either way, one thing we have to keep in mind is how to be professional. A while back I posted an entry about a certain client of mine who didn't pay me. His name was Barclay Layman and while my intentions were not to earn money or even approach him, my intentions were just to tell a story about how I got started in the programming world. What happened after the blog-post was Barclay contacted me and gave me the amount that was unpaid for. I find this to be really professional of him, and I look forward to working with him in the near future. I know he has some stuff coming out and so do I so (AndSpot) so well see how we can collaborate. Barclay Layman's a cool dude, and some misunderstanding got in the way 4-5 years ago, but its all cool now. I wish Barclay and his team all the good luck for their upcoming projects.

I haven't died!
Update on why this blog hasn't been updated
Im not dead , im still alive and working in flex. Currently im working for a start-up called Sensidea on a cool revolutionary product. Im also in McMaster University doing software engineering, plus Gaiql is still around and being developed. One thing particular about gaiql that was changed is the entire codebase! . During the alpha a couple of developers tested the hell out of it and realized it needed major optimization (well it was an alpha after all) . Because of the feedback I got , i started looking into better optimization algorithms to do sorting (mainly the tamarin source code, and some books i got at mcmaster) . I will be releasing some news on gaiql soon. Plus Gaiql is going to implement some sql functionality to connect to your sql database , and i promise this will be the most secure way of doing this.

Books,Projects,Investors
What Have I Been UpTo

I haven’t blogged for over 3 weeks and no I’m not dead. It’s been really hectic, firstly me, Abdul Qabiz  , Jon Hirschi , and our leader Tariq Ahmed have been working day and night on our new book Flex In Action! flexinaction.com/.
Its a beginners guide to flex and I cannot comment on the release date (soon) but we are in the final stages of book writing (editing, polishing up). Another thing that has kept me busy is tons of new projects that we are working on and with investors to make them a reality; the home page will be updated with product pages and details about how you can work with us! It is going to be a great year for G-uniX and one that will put us on the map.
